Rosanna practices exclusively in the area of marital and family law. She earned her Psychology degree from the University of Miami in 1992 and received her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in 2003. Prior to attending law school, Rosanna was employed as a Legal Assistant, and Paralegal, for Matthew S. Nugent, a Board Certified Marital & Family Law attorney who is also a Fellow with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
After being admitted to the Bar in April 2004, Rosanna was employed as an Assistant State Attorney where she prosecuted domestic violence crimes but realized her passion was in the area of marital and family law. Rosanna then returned to the Law Office of Matthew Nugent as an Associate for a period of two years, prior to commencing her private practice in May 2006.
Rosanna has had several published opinions; Shafer v. Shafer, 898 So. 2d 1053 (Fla. 4th DCA 2005); Parnama v. Parnama, 908 So.2d 541, (Fla. 4th DCA 2005); Vazquez v. Vazquez, 922 So.2d 368 (Fla. 4th DCA 2006); and Wells v. Wells, 923 So. 2d 1286 (Fla 4th DCA 2006). She is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, Family Law Section, The Florida Bar, Family Law Section, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Sponsorship Director (2006-2007) and Hispanic Bar Association. Rosanna was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and speaks fluent Spanish.
